We haven't heard much about James Cameron's Avatar sequels since Sigourney Weaver was dropping hints in February and May of last year. We've also heard he's planning three sequels, each from different screenwriters (Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa/Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno, respectively). And we've heard Avatar 2's production may start next year for a December 2016 release date.
Now Latino Review claims to know who will play the villain in Avatar 2: Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In terms of story, the first sequel will pick up after the events of the first film, when Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) permanently transfers his consciousness to his Na'vi avatar and begins a new life with Princess Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) after they defeat the human colonizers. [...] In fact, according to top level sources, a bad guy human general is going to be played by someone who hasn't worked with James Cameron in almost 20 years. Ready? It's none other than... ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER! [Latino Review]
Schwarzenegger - who worked with Cameron in Terminator 1 and 2 and True Lies - has already stated a desire to work with Cameron again.
Ah, but will Schwarzenegger continue to pronounce the title as "Abadah"?
ABADAH doo doo doodoodoo. ABADAH doo doodoo doo.
