These DC Comics Custom Made Hoodies Are Inspired

damian+wayne

Here's a perfect way to keep warm and show off your DC knowledge. Hoodies inspired by DC characters such as Young Justice Dick Grayson, Artemis, Red Hood, Damian Wayne, Kid Flash and more.

Created by Sandra over at TheLittlestBat.tumblr.com, these hoodies can range in the $180 - $200 area when they go up on ebay, but when you're talking hand made, custom pieces, that's not too bad.

Check out more pics after the break and see how many you can name.

This TARDIS Costume Skirt Is Both Functional And Fun

tardisskirt

Sometimes you have to mute you love for geeky things when you're getting dressed in the morning. Maybe the company you work for has a dress code or you're heading to a more fomal event, or your other TARDIS skirt is a cosplay piece you can't wear for everyday use.

Whatever the reason, this custom made skirt by the NonstopFandomShop feels like a pretty cool way to bridge the gap.

It's a good match for TARDIS blue and, per the description, "The color shifts and changes in the light."

It's also machine washable and you can toss it in the dryer. How many TARDISes can you say that about?

;-)

Carlos BATMAN AND ROBIN - Vintage Birthday Photo

Here's a wonderful vintage family photo taken nearly 34 years ago, March 19th, 1978. This was sent to us from our Friend Carlos who lives in Mexico. Carlos is shown here as Batman! The event was his Brother Ivan's 1st Birthday. Ivan had a great costume too. He was Robin, The Boy Wonder! You can see him sitting on the table. This Costume Party was put together by their Mother and the sweet thing is that she made all the costumes by hand. Homemade costumes are so much better than store-bought ones because there is a lot of LOVE put into them. She did a great job here. Carlos, Thanks for sharing your special photo and when your Brother Ivan has a birthday soon then please tell him we said, "Happy Birthday, Robin!"

Make Or Buy These USB Stick Slippers

Do you have cold feet and an unreasonable obsession for USB flash drives? Then these are the slippers for you! They won’t plug into any PC I’ve seen, but they probably don’t have room to store much besides your feet.

If you like to crochet, you can get a pattern to make your own. If you don’t know what a crochet hook is, you can buy a pair of ready-made slippers (just specify the size and colors).

Chart The Stars On Your Scarf [DIY]

One of my goals for this year is to learn the names and locations of more constellations. I think I’ll help myself remember them by putting them on a scarf. You read that right.

The craft from Katie of A Beautiful Mess is creative and cool. It looks simple too – you just need a scarf, some craft foam, fabric paint, embroidery floss, and a few other basics. I recommend getting a large scarf so you can plot all of your favorites.

Check out an additional image after the break.

If you would like to make this scarf yourself, visit A Beautiful Mess.

Super Mario Final Level Leather Belt

Holy crap—I would wear this belt with everything (even a suit). Unfortunately, I don’t have a sister as talented as Julia from Saluki Feathers. She handcrafted this belt featuring the entire final level in Super Mario Bros. for her younger brother’s birthday and is currently hard at work on a League of Legends version for her older brother.

Check out a couple of shots after the break featuring the belt in-progress.
