Black★Rock Shooter: Black Rock Shooter 03

A character that was labeled as a black clad Hatsune Miku, Black Rock Shooter became her own entity on September 20, 2009. Crypton, the company that created Miku, announced that Black Rock Shooter has no relation with the Vocaloid character.

Black Rock Shooter is 15-years-old and is well known for her massive projectile weapons. The Black Canon can shoot up to 20 rocks per second, but she is also seen with a sword known as the Black Blade.

I think that's a rather unique interpretation of the blue flame erupting from her eye. As the contributor Fernandez said, "this cosplay's sizzling hot"!

HeartCatch PreCure!: Cure Marine

People would think that after all these years of writing for this cosplay blog that I would know a lot about different characters from anime, manga and games.

Well, you'd be wrong, because I get surprises like this in my inbox quite often!

To be completely honest, the first character that came to mind when I saw this was Sailor Mercury from Sailor Moon... a stylized version of her anyway! But I'm pretty sure this is not the case.

You guys know the drill, comment and discuss who she could be in the comments, but I hope you guys can leave your name next time so that I can credit you properly if you guess right! So many anonymous comments... I wonder if it's because they don't want people to know that they're reading Cosplay Holic? In any case, thanks to Paton Saint for sending this in!

While he was being tortured, however, his hatred grew for the people who took away his parents and freedom, summoning a demon Ciel named Sebastian Michaelis. It was then that Ciel sold his soul to the devil in order to gain the power to fulfill his revenge.

K-On!: Hirasawa Yui 04

A hard-worker when it comes to her guitar playing, Hirasawa Yui can have incredible focus when she has a clear goal in sight. Unfortunately, this is limited to only one subject as a time. In one incident, Yui had to make up for her test scores in math and while she was able to bring her skills up to par, her guitar skills deteriorated quickly. Nevertheless, Yui plays her guitar with amazing energy and joy, much to the delight of her audience.

This is pretty awesome! And if she's willing to share, I'd like a donut too please!

Loveless: Agatsuma Soubi and Aoyagi Ritsuka 02

As ordered by his previous master, Soubi contacted Ritsuka after Seimei's death. He introduced Ritsuka to the world of fighters and sacrifices and told Ritsuka that he was his Fighter Unit. Many knew Soubi to be Seimei's fighter, thus his relationship with Ritsuka was considered taboo because there is no fighter-sacrifice bond between them.

Another beautiful cosplay found on Loveless Cosplay's Tumblr! If I'm not mistaken, this is a reenactment of one of the covers from the manga. I'm not too sure how accurate the clothes are though! Thanks for sharing this with us!

Homestuck: Alternate Future Dave

Alternate Future Dave, aka Davesprite, is Dave Strider from the Doomed Timeline where John Egbert was tricked by Terezi Prototype into being killed by the Denizen. Upon splitting from the alpha timeline, it lost contact with the Troll's Incipisphere, and Jade was presumably killed by her mentor. Not understanding the temporal mechanics at work, Dave and Rose Lalonde assumed that the trolls, having achieved their goal of sabotage, had no further reason to contact them. Because there were only two players remaining, the game was unwinnable.

I've been seeing a lot of Homestuck fan art from Deviant Art, but didn't really know what it was about until Cherokee sent me this cosplay of one of the characters. Sounds like a pretty interesting webcomic. Thanks again to Cherokee for sending this!
