Game of Thrones will be back on TV in just about seven weeks. Seven hells, seven weeks feels too long! What I’d give to hibernate until then. Ah well, to whet your appetite here’s the synopsis of its, as of now unnamed, premiere episode. I’ll warn you non-book readers, there be spoilers ahead,
Episode #21: Jon is brought before Mance Rayder, the King Beyond the Wall, while the Night's Watch survivors retreat south. In King's Landing, Tyrion asks for his reward, Littlefinger offers Sansa a way out, and Cersei hosts a dinner for the royal family. Arya runs into the Brotherhood Without Banners. Sounds legit to me. The events described here are completely on par with what happens at the end of A Clash of Kings/the beginning of A Storm of Swords. They’ve been reordering some things to better suit their series, which I applaud. I also expect this premiere episode to be a longer one, that’s a lot of characters listed above and they’ll want to give each their due amount of screen time.
Gah! I’m so excited! What are you doing to bide you time until Game of Thrones returns?
